Dipping Oil!

Use extra-virgin olive oil. You don't have to use the most expensive one you can find, just a nice fruity oil. You can also try flavored oils. My very favorite right now is Agrumato pressed with lemons or tangerines (the tall bottles pictured below). It's kind of pricy ($13 - $15), but so so yummy. When you consider it's the price of a bottle of wine or a couple six-packs, it seems like a pretty good deal. If you throw all the extra herbs on a big platter with several

  1. Pour oil onto a plate or shallow bowl.
  2. Flavor with your choice of herbs & spices. Even just salt & pepper is fine.
  3. Serve with bread.
